Summer Student - Accounting/Finance

Torxen Oil & Gas Ltd. a new and growing Oil and Gas company is currently looking for an Accounting/Finance Student or Recent Graduate for summer employment in our Calgary office.

About this Summer Student Opportunity:

Reporting to the Manager Accounting, the primary responsibility of this position is to assist with various accounting responsibilities within Production Accounting, Accounts Payable and Operations Accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with various aspects of the monthly property accounting process

• Assist with data gathering and input into accounting systems

• Work in a team environment and take on a variety of accounting challenges

• Identify and scope out opportunities to improve processes

 The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Current Accounting or Finance student or recent graduate, proof of education will be required

• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

• Detail oriented

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Working knowledge of Excel is an asset
